A (General Engineering), endorsed for Hazardous Waste Sites

MSES
takes all necessary precautions and steps to protect clients,
our employees, and the general public from accidents involving
hazardous materials or hazardous waste releases or potential
exposures. Our field operation is geared to prevent compounding
the problems that clients may face during their day-to-day
operation. In fact, as an experienced Occupational Safety
& Health consultation firm, we understand risks associated
with hazardous materials and hazardous waste management activities
and the preventive measures required.
We are committed to protecting the environment by adhering
to well established and industry proven standard operational
procedures. We have never received a notice of violation resulting
from improperly handling hazardous waste, transporting hazardous
waste, or by responding to the spills during emergencies;
nor have we received OSHA violations for negligence of the
health and safety of our employees, our clients, personnel
or the public.
MSES
provides technical and regulatory assistance to conduct and
compile detailed hazardous materials inventories and management
including woodshop, support areas, boiler rooms, carpentry,
print shops, hazardous materials warehouses, mechanical rooms,
operations & maintenance areas, hazardous materials distribution
sectors, and other hazardous materials accumulation points.
Hazardous material inventories are entered in the Chemical
Classification System (CCS) software to track quantity on
hand, purchase date, shelf life, location, manufacturer, type
of container, usage patterns, purchase requirements, and disposal.
This software allows our personnel to make recommendations
for removal of hazardous materials no longer in use and to
update the database.
In addition, our services include:
- Using CCS software to conduct periodic inventories of
hazardous materials at science laboratories, warehouses
and storage areas for tracking of purchase date, shelf life,
inventory control and identification of off-specification
hazardous materials
- On going maintenance of compliance, safety and health
programs including training
- Hazardous materials reporting and tracking report preparation
- Obtaining Material Safety Data Sheets for hazardous material
present in inventory
MSES curbside and waste management services include:
Removal
of off-specification chemical reagents specimen and hazardous
materials identified with expired shelf life, underutilized
or having reached a retrograde condition
- Segregation, classification and disposal of hazardous
materials identified as hazardous waste by the end-users
- Transportation of containerized labpack and non-bulk
waste streams to treatment or disposal facilities
- Preparation of detailed and complete USEPA Bi-annual
Reports
- Removal of hazardous waste from 90 day accumulation points
- Transportation and disposal of hazardous waste
- Prepare waste profiles, uniform hazardous waste manifests
and land ban restriction certification forms
