| Environmental Consulting - Water Quality Assessments |
| MSES conducts water quality assessments to find out if the water, in school, is at a harmful rate to humans. If any harmful chemicals (such as lead) seep into the water, it would endanger the people's health. Therefore, with a test, these harmful chemicals can be identified. For example, school water contains phosphorus, and too much phosphorus in the human body is harmful to the human body. Unsafe water might effect pregnant women in the school. One of the diseases that affect pregnant women is the "blue baby syndrome". It is harmful to infants because it is caused by nitrogen seeping in the water. |
| MSES focuses in school water because since the population keeps growing we have to irrigate more places, so there are more chances to get water from an affected area. School water is consumed by the entire population of the school, and it can be contaminated, which can allow harmful chemicals to spread. The identified chemicals might be in the water because of rusty, old, or leaky pipes. Pollution can spread and arrive in water reservoirs where people and schools receive their water. |
