As a small emerging 8(a) firm, MSES has accomplished the
following four strategic objectives that set us apart:
- Establishment as the foremost specialized firm providing
safety, health, and environmental management services to
multidisciplinary science laboratories in the Western United
States
- The design, development, and implementation of our proprietary
software, Chemical Classification System (CCS)
which has allowed us to gain a competitive edge on our competitors
by producing various types of detailed, reliable and professional
reports quickly and easily
- The launch of the MSES web site where clients are able
to access specifically tailored data that support our services
at science laboratories and offer online reports
- New accounting software, Deltek GCS Premier, a fully
integrated project-based accounting system that is recognized
by the DCAA as a highly effective, reliable software with
the ability to perform cost-plus and fee-based contracts.
Used by government contracting firms since 1983, Deltek
GCS Premier was developed in conjunction with FAR and CAS
regulations and is designed to be compliant with DCAA audit
requirements. The software offers audit trail visibility
in all aspects of labor charging and non-labor expenditures.
It has full automation of FFP, CPFF and T&M billing
with support documentation, timely project cost reporting,
and budget-versus-actual analysis.
MSES is a licensed and certified hazardous waste transporter
with the following licenses and certificates that support
our good standing in the handling and transportation of hazardous
waste operations:
- Highway Patrol Carrier No. CA 208541
- US Environmental Protection Agency RCRA ID No. CAR000091447
- Department of Toxic Substances Control, Transporter Registration
No. 4179
Furthermore, MSES has obtained a Contractor's License, Class
A (General Engineering), endorsed for Hazardous Waste Sites
Remediation, in order to participate in the remediation market
with the Federal Government.
